The Trusts and Trustees Act provides for the creation of trusts under Maltese law. It is no longer necessary for a trust to be registered with the regulatory authority. However, the Act sets out a number of formal requirements. Our services include the drafting of a trust instrument and assisting in the formalities for creation of the trust.
Finco through its subsidiary Finco Trust is a licensed trustee in terms of the Trusts and Trustees Act and can provide trustee services to clients. In acting as trustee, we assist in implementing the requirements set out in terms of the trust instruments.
