Role Overview
As an Information Security Officer, you will contribute to the ongoing efforts to safeguard Finco’s information assets and IT systems. Additionally, you will also ensure that Finco remains compliant with regulations and law, and contribute to increasing Finco’s security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Defining, documenting, and enforcing Finco’s information security policies and practices.
- Identifying and investigating potential information security issues and incidents.
- Managing Finco’s security incident and event management, incident response and patching of systems.
- Recommend and implement security controls and ensure their effective operation.
- Promoting security awareness and develop a security awareness and training programme.
- Conduct internal and external vulnerability assessments, security testing and manage any remediation plans resulting from these tests.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor Finco’s compliance with regulatory and statutory security obligations.
- Conducting third-party provider security risk assessments.
- Assisting with the administration and support of security systems, including system requirements, analysis, design, development, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Define security requirements for all new products and systems, and monitor that implementation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant Information Security certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
- Solid understanding of Information Security technologies and risk-based approach.
- Knowledge of regulations and laws covering information security (such as NIS2, DORA, EBA Guidelines) is essential.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Strong sense of initiative, accountability and drive to see a project to conclusion.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft on-prem and cloud environments and technologies is essential.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server and .Net languages is a plus.
